ROFORGE designs and manufactures industrial forged and cast valves, that meet regulation and standards as well as EPCs and end user specifications. Manufacturing bespoke products, that can meet every customer specific needs, is a key characteristic of its development. The company also designs, manufactures and distributes MAVINOX and RONFARD products. Together, these three brands can boast a century of know-how in designing and manufacturing industrial forged and cast valves.
Established in 1975 by Martial Roser, ROFORGE has its headquarter in Saint-Chamond, in the central Auvergne and Rhône-Alpes region in France.
At first, it made forged valves, especially for the French oil sector. Then, ROFORGE also developped its activity in chemistry, energy… Its market rapidly turned to exports. In 2003 and 2007, it took over MAVINOX and RONFARD.
1975: ROFORGE established by Martial ROSER (forged valves)
1995: Transfer to the STELYTEC site (2000 m²)
1996: Certification ISO 9001
2003: ROFORGE takes over MAVINOX (forged valves)
2004: Innovation award (double tightness valves)
2007: ROFORGE takes over RONFARD (adjusting valves)
2007: Site expansion at STELYTEC (1500 m²)
Forged gate valves, globe valves and check valves (size ≤ DN50).
Specialties in the forged range: cryogenic valves, bellows valves, high temperature radiator cooled valves…
Mavinox was established in 1928 in Lorette, under the name MATRICON, after its founder Antoine MATRICON.
Their activity then revolved around industrial pumps and valves. In 1980, MATRICON became MAVINOX.
Located in the same industrial area and sharing the same customer base, both companies regularly worked together, through technical and commercial partnerships. In 2003, ROFORGE took over MAVINOX and kept the brand name, thus expanding its product range.
Wrought valves, fittings and check valves.
(size DN ≥ 50).
Mechanically welded sight glasses.
Specialties similar to ROFORGE’s, but in the wrought range (cryogenic valves, bellows valves, high temperature finned valves)
Piston valves for polymerization reactors, also called piston valves for tank reactors.
In 1920, Mr RONFARD established a general mechanics business. From 1948, it evolved towards industrial valves.
In 2007, due to its geographical proximity with ROFORGE, having some customers in common, and given the synergy between their business and products, it was decided that ROFORGE would take over RONFARD. ROFORGE thus expanded its product range even further, while keeping RONFARD as a brand name.
Cast gate valves, globe valves and check valves.
Mechanically welded sight flow indicators.
Specialties similar to ROFORGE’s, but in the cast range (cryogenic valves, bellows valves, high temperature finned valves)
Piston valves for polymerization reactors, also called piston tank bottom valves.
